As of April 17, 2023, Sven Jacobsen will take over as Vice President Communication & Sustainability at German cruise company AIDA Cruises.

Jacobsen is a renowned expert in the field of communication and sustainability. In his career, he has worked for Beiersdorf and Media-Saturn-Holding, among others. After a post at Salzburg-based automotive supplier Benteler, he has been responsible for corporate communications at fruit gum manufacturer Haribo since 2015. Most recently, he was actively involved in the PR business with his own consulting agency.

Jacobsen reports directly to Felix Eichhorn, President AIDA Cruises.

Sven Jacobsen succeeds Hansjörg Kunze, who had been at the helm of corporate communications at AIDA Cruises in his role as Vice President Communication & Sustainability since 2004. Hansjörg Kunze is thus leaving the operational side of the business and will continue to support the cruise company in an advisory capacity with his outstanding expertise and valuable knowledge of the industry.
